Vintage Mughal Gold Work Miniature Painting of a Mughal Prince with Mughal seals at the back
This is an old hand painted miniature painting of a Mughal prince adorned with exceptional quality of gold leaf work on handmade paper. Natural stone colours have been used to make the painting. Back side of the painting has two old Mughal seals. This is probably early 20th century but has been done in 17th century style. The detail of the gold work can be seen in the images. Highly detailed work makes it highly collectible.
The size of the painting is 6in x 4in and comes framed with both sides of the painting visible. This painting was acquired from a collector in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
These type of paintings were very popular in the royal courts of the Mughal in India and Persia.
